Hello and welcome to the second post of the Whatever Webcast, where I type about whatever the heck I please, whether it be something I figured out today, some sort of an accomplishment, or maybe just talking about my day.
Before I talk about this story that just blew up, I'd like to say sorry I wasn't really involved in the webcast. The only useless excuse I have is - Life.
Anyways, so it was in the news today that Warren Beaty, the person who presented the awards for the 2017 Oscars, gave the wrong movie the award for best movie. It was supposed to be for "Moonlight", but it ended up going to "La La Land" because of some mix up.
The story goes that the person who gave Warren the card handed the envelope to Warren, and he was puzzled. The card said "Emma Stone - La La Land", which made no sense for the category of best movie. Oh, and the envelope itself also said "Best Actress".
Am I the only one being reminded of the Miss Universe pageant?
